I think it has gotten easier over time, because most people are now familiar with the basic guidelines for this task. You can still paint your house, just make sure it’s a fresh coat.
After all that, there’s still room for improvement. You don’t want to paint a home that looks awful, but you can’t always paint it so it looks perfect. You first scrub it, then you run water on it, then you rub it with a cloth, etc. But when you paint, you are literally cleaning it in the first place.
I see that “cleaning” isn’t really a word. What exactly do we want to be left with? You don’t say, “I want to paint my new home.” It’s actually more of a statement of intent. You don’t want to paint your home, because there are so many possibilities to the future but the possibilities are endless.
People are scared of painting their homes. It’s a very common, very natural fear. But painting your new home is something that needs to be done. The reason people paint their homes is because they are homes. You’re going to want to do it because you want to be able to live in it. You are going to want to know that you are living in a home that you can enjoy.
